Volunteer of the Year Award Committee

The Volunteer of the Year Award is designed to recognize a member for outstanding contributions to GDHA during the current year. Officers are not eligible for nomination.

Specific duties of this committee include:

1. Sending a letter to each component President and President-Elect soliciting nominations.
2. Preparing each nominee's information, removing name, and keeping anonymity as much as possible.
3. Presenting nominees' forms to the Executive Board at the Pre-Annual Session Board Meeting, where voting will take place by ballot.

The winner receives a recognition plaque and one year's membership in ADHA, GDHA, and their Component.
