This committee coordinates the awarding of recognition certificates as described below:

RECOGNITION PROGRAM: A program to encourage and recognize participation in professional association activities. Recognition will be earned through points accumulated throughout the years of professional activities. Recognition awards will be presented annually and publicized in the Flossline by listing all members achieving a recognition level. Notification will be sent to each component as members achieve different recognition categories.

Points are awarded by the completion of an application by the member and verification by the GDHA Administrative Council. Applications must be received by October 13 to receive recognition during that year.

RECOGNITION CATEGORIES:

Daisy: 25 points

Carnation: 50 points

Lily: 75 points

Rose: 100 points

Orchid: GDHA President

Bronze: 300 points

Copper: 500 points

Silver: 1000 points

Gold: 1500 points

Medallion: 2000 points

Plaque: 3000 points

Trophy: 4000 points
