Student Liaison Committee

This committee is responsible for maintaining effective communication and relations between the student societies and the GDHA. Specific duties include:

1. Monitoring and coordinating a Student Association that is statewide in scope.
2. Arranging a function for students at the GDHA Annual Session.
3. Coordinating/moderating the on-site SADHA program usually held during the second business meeting at Annual Session.
4. Assisting District IV Student Liaison Chairperson in District IV activities.
5. Editing and publishing a SADHA newsletter with articles submitted by SADHA Advisors.
6. Before school graduations in the Spring, informing students how to join the ADHA, GDHA, and Component Societies upon graduation.
7. During the dental hygiene national board and/or clinical exam, coordinating the provision of some activity to show GDHA support and foster membership.
8. Serving on the Scholarship Endowment Committee.
