Message from the President:
Greetings to all
hygienists in the Central Savannah River Area,
I’m back for another
year as president of the CSRA dental hygiene society. I’m a
little late with my presidential letter but better late than
never. I hope all hygienists in the area are interested in
contributing to the component as they can and I invite all
of you to participate in the upcoming events. We have two
community projects slated for Children’s Dental Health Month
in February. Our first project will be presenting dental
health information to 25 children at Christ the King
Lutheran Church on the 13th and then we will go
to a Boys & Girls Club in downtown Augusta later in the
month to do the same.
Our component will host
a symposium in August as well as offering 2 scholarships to
SADHA dental hygiene seniors attending MCG. Come
experience hygiene as a profession and career (not just a
job and a paycheck). You also get to enjoy the camaraderie
of a fun and savvy group of people. Please contact me with
any ideas or concerns you may have about your component.
